Calgary, AB – Greg Staples* scored his third goal of the season with 1:12 remaining in the third period and Dave Holden scored two goals and added an assist as the Knights extended their winning streak to three games with a 6-5 triumph over the Tailgaters at Norma Bush on Saturday.

Capping off the scoring for the Knights was Derek Boeckx* and Shawn Calafatis*, Brad Peterson each tallying single markers. Boeckx* added two assists. Goaltender Trevor Sedgwick* picked up the win for the Knights giving up five goals.

Finding the twine for the Tailgaters was Ben Bleakley* with a hat-trick and Lance Nixon* and Trevor Chown* chipping in with a goal each. Boyd Crockett* added two assists. Goaltender Leslie Redden surrendered six goals in the loss for the Tailgaters.

With the win, the Knights improve to 5-8-0-0 while the Tailgaters fall to 7-4-2-0.
