Calgary, AB – Mike Smilsky* scored two goals and added three assists as the Westside Wranglers extended its winning streak to three games with a 8-4 thrashing over the Wizards at Optimist on Wednesday.

Capping off the scoring for the Westside Wranglers was Marek Pawlicki* and Brian Moore* with a pair of goals each, Marshall Blue* and Connor Coates* chipping in with a goal each. Blue*, Lucas Gill* added two assists. Goaltender Chris Holden* picked up the win for the Westside Wranglers giving up four goals.

Finding the twine for the Wizards was Lucas Mertz* with two goals and Brady McCormick* and Joel Van der Velden* each tallying single markers. Goaltender Derek Blais* surrendered eight goals in the loss for the Wizards.

With the win, the Westside Wranglers improve to 3-1-0-0 while the Wizards fall to 0-4-0-0.
