Calgary, AB – Jared vanRee* scored his fourth goal of the season with 14:09 remaining in the third period and Dan Arnold* scored two goals and added an assist to help lift the D5 Ducks to a 6-5 victory over the Da Byes at Stew Hendry on Tuesday.

Also scoring for the D5 Ducks was Eric Miller* with two goals and Marc Young* with a single tally. Gio Perri* added two assists. Goaltender Adam Griffith picked up the victory for the D5 Ducks giving up 0 goals.

Scoring for the Da Byes was Adam Inraw with two goals and Blair Neil, Ross Dance* and Dru Morrison each with single strikes. Justin Furlong* added two assists. Goaltender Mike Skirvng surrendered six goals in the loss for the Da Byes.

With the victory, the D5 Ducks improve to 2-6-1-0 while the Da Byes fall to 3-5-1-0.
