Calgary, AB – Paul Poirier scored two goals and added four assists as Team Players extended its winning streak to seven games with a 7-2 trouncing over the Da Byes at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Completing the scoring for for Team Players was Jason Cirkanewitch with two goals and Matt Cormack, Sean Mahoney and Trevor Croft chipping in with singles. Poirier added four assists, Cirkanewitch added three assists, Cormack and Mahoney each added two assists. Goaltender Adam Melon picked up the victory for Team Players giving up two goals.

Finding the back of the net for the Da Byes was Merek Rewolek and Justin Furlong* each contributing with single markers. Goaltender Mike Skirvng surrendered seven goals in the loss for the Da Byes.

With the victory, Team Players improve to 11-6-1-0 while the Da Byes fall to 7-9-2-0.
