Calgary, AB – Evan Michalchuk* scored five goals and added four assists to lead the Icemen to a 15-7 whipping over the Honey Badgers at Village Square on Saturday.

Completing the scoring for for the Icemen was Kyle Fraser* with four strikes, Corbin Coyes* and Sean Jozsa* with a pair of goals each and Alex Ponich* and John Givens* chipping in with a goal each. Ponich* added six assists, Fraser* and Coyes* each added three assists, Jozsa*, Givens* and Trevor Elms* each added two assists. Goaltender T Copp picked up the victory for the Icemen giving up seven goals.

Finding the twine for the Honey Badgers was Dave Jantzie* and Tim Hodge* with a pair of goals each, Todd Esler*, Matt Loiseau* and Kevin Toth* chipping in with singles. E Melville added two assists. Goaltender Matt Elder* surrendered 15 goals in the loss for the Honey Badgers.

With the victory, the Icemen improve to 11-15-3-0 while the Honey Badgers fall to 12-13-4-0.
