Calgary, AB – Dave Jantzie* scored five goals and added four assists to help the Honey Badgers to a 9-4 spanking over the Mustangs at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Also scoring for the Honey Badgers was Eric DeMaere* with two goals, Scott Cote* and Steve Wilson* with a goal each. Jantzie* added four assists, DeMaere* and Jason Lebbert* each added three assists, Cote*, Al Mowbray* and Kevin Toth* each added two assists. Goaltender Matt Elder* picked up the win for the Honey Badgers giving up four goals.

Striking for the Mustangs was Matt Barette with two goals and Rhett Pickering* and Daniel Chisholm* each adding a goal. Evan Ferguson* added two assists. Goaltender Duane Arsenault* surrendered nine goals in the loss for the Mustangs.

With the win, the Honey Badgers improve to 12-11-4-0 while the Mustangs fall to 8-17-2-0.
