Calgary, AB – Rob Walker* scored his 18th goal of the season with 3:20 remaining in the third period and John Helfrich* scored two goals to guide the Icecats to a 4-3 conquest over the Blades at Optimist on Sunday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Icecats was Tyson McDonald* with a single tally. Kelly Stoodley* added two assists. Goaltender Larry Guilloux* picked up the win for the Icecats giving up 0 goals.

Cashing in for the Blades was Bob Storrs*, Cory Romashenko* and Tyler Beacom* contributing with a goal each. Storrs* added two assists. Goaltender Graeme Rowe* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Blades.

With the win, the Icecats improve to 14-2-2-0 while the Blades fall to 10-8-0-0.
