Calgary, AB – Mike Prins* scored a hat-trick and added three assists to help fuel the Chevron to a 9-5 pounding over the Knights at Optimist on Saturday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Chevron was BJ Arnold and Casey Bajnok* and Pierre Turcotte* with a pair of goals each. Arnold added four assists, Bajnok*, Steve Campbell added two assists. Goaltender Darrell Gall* picked up the win for the Chevron giving up five goals.

The win snapped the Chevron's three-game losing skid.

Striking for the Knights was Will Clark*, Erryl Copeland*, Dustin Borotsik, Andrew Nicol and Mike Cundall with a goal each. Clark*, Rob Curts and Andy Williamson* each added two assists. Goaltender Mark Watson surrendered nine goals in the loss for the Knights.

With the win, the Chevron improve to 7-17-1-0 while the Knights fall to 5-17-3-0.
