Calgary, AB – Tony Wyllie scored two goals and added an assist to help lift the Hopewell Hurricanes to a 9-3 pounding over the Chevron at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Adding markers for the Hopewell Hurricanes was Dave Meyer and Jay Edwards and Brad Slomp* with a pair of goals each and Mike Liberatore* with a single tally. Liberatore* added three assists. Goaltender Steve Tolhurst* picked up the victory for the Hopewell Hurricanes giving up three goals.

Scoring for the Chevron was Dave Cadrin*, TJ Mikuska* and Kyle Myden* each with single strikes. Dean Jolley* added two assists. Goaltender Darrell Gall* surrendered nine goals in the loss for the Chevron.

With the victory, the Hopewell Hurricanes improve to 11-9-4-0 while the Chevron fall to 6-17-1-0.
