Calgary, AB – Carson Packer* scored a hat-trick for the Grasshoppers and Geoff DaSilva* scored two goals and added two assists for the Sofa Kings as the teams played to a 9-9 tie at Optimist on Sunday.

Completing the scoring for for the Sofa Kings was , Reto Stiz*, Lucas Long*, Adam MacLean*, Trevor Burke * and Regan Yeager* chipping in with a goal each. Stiz*, Brandon Long*, Rory Dawson *. Goaltender Nico Vandersalm * surrendered nine goals in the tie for the Sofa Kings.

Completing the scoring for for the Grasshoppers was Morgan Rudiger with two goals and Sean Murray*, Kirk Hildebrandt*, Cole Peers and Matthew Goddard* chipping in with singles. Bob Storrs* added three assists and Colin Baustad* added two assists. Goaltender Lesley Reddon* gave up nine goals in the tie for the Grasshoppers.

After the tie, the Grasshoppers have a record of 10-8-3-0 while the Sofa Kings move to 8-8-6-0.
