Calgary, AB – Evan Michalchuk* scored six goals and added three assists to help support the Icemen in a 12-7 spanking over the Blazers at Stew Hendry on Sunday.

Adding markers for the Icemen was Corbin Coyes* with two goals, Kyle Fraser* and Pat Gilles, Travis Copp* and Sean Jozsa* with a goal each. Michalchuk* added three assists, Gord MacLean* and M Fedsoll each added two assists. Goaltender Jean-Michelle Auger* picked up the victory for the Icemen giving up seven goals.

Providing the offence for the Blazers was Aaron Mckay*, Mark Oscienny*, David Reimer*, Peter Jones*, Mark Jones*, Mike Pashulka* and Travis Rohl* each with single strikes. Mckay* and Oscienny* each added three assists and Alex Langley* added two assists. Goaltender Stefan Migotti* surrendered 12 goals in the loss for the Blazers.

The loss snuffed out the Blazers' three-game winning streak.

With the victory, the Icemen improve to 4-12-2-0 while the Blazers fall to 13-4-2-0.
