Calgary, AB – Brian Ceelen* scored a hat-trick and added two assists to help the Sofa Kings to an 11-2 spanking over the Ringers at Village Square on Saturday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Sofa Kings was Regan Yeager* and Brandon Long* with a pair of goals each and Gord Matheson *, Rory Dawson *, Lyle Armitage * and Bruce Corrigal* with a goal each. Matheson * added five assists, Yeager* added four assists, Ceelen*, Long*, Dawson * and Adam MacLean* each added two assists. Goaltender Nico Vandersalm * picked up the win for the Sofa Kings giving up two goals.

Striking for the Ringers was Steve Wright and Colton Hubele each adding a goal. Goaltender Devin Hardie surrendered 11 goals in the loss for the Ringers.

With the win, the Sofa Kings improve to 6-5-1-0 while the Ringers fall to 1-8-2-0.
