Calgary, AB – Eric Miller scored two goals and added an assist to lift the Tailgaters to a 7-5 conquest over the Hopewell Hurricanes at Southland on Monday.

Capping off the scoring for the Tailgaters was Craig Rollison* with two goals and Brian Hogg*, Patrick Rust and Shane Legrow* contributing with a goal each. Trevor Chown added four assists. Goaltender Todd Bettison* picked up the win for the Tailgaters giving up five goals.

Sniping for the Hopewell Hurricanes was Brad Slomp* with two goals and Andy Keats*, Martin Carter* and Mike Liberatore* each tallying single markers. Doug Pickell* added two assists. Goaltender Adam Burton* surrendered seven goals in the loss for the Hopewell Hurricanes.

The setback halted the Hopewell Hurricanes' three-game winning streak.

With the win, the Tailgaters improve to 7-4-0-0 while the Hopewell Hurricanes fall to 6-3-2-0.
