Calgary, AB – Jon Sigurdson* scored two goals and added an assist to help secure the Wolves a victory in a 7-5 victory over the Icemen at Optimist on Sunday.

Completing the scoring for for the Wolves was Bryant Gudmundson* with two goals and Jon Haberstock*, Travis Hodges* and Chad Lerner* chipping in with singles. Haberstock* and Rhys Borschneck* each added two assists. Goaltender Nathan Steinke* picked up the victory for the Wolves giving up five goals.

Finding the back of the net for the Icemen was Evan Michalchuk* with a hat-trick and Kevin Patterson and Gord MacLean* each contributing with single markers. Kyle Fraser* added two assists. Goaltender Jean-Michelle Auger* surrendered seven goals in the loss for the Icemen.

With the victory, the Wolves improve to 5-5-0-0 while the Icemen fall to 2-8-1-0.
