Calgary, AB – Ash Johnson* scored his sixth goal of the season with 1:40 remaining in the third period and Brad Slomp* scored a goal and added an assist as the Hopewell Hurricanes extended their winning streak to three games with a 3-2 conquest over the Chevron at George Blundun on Saturday.

Capping off the scoring for the Hopewell Hurricanes was Mike Liberatore* with a single tally. Doug Pickell* added two assists. Goaltender Paul Simon* picked up the win for the Hopewell Hurricanes giving up two goals.

Sniping for the Chevron was Scott Sharp* and Pierre Turcotte* contributing with a goal each. Goaltender Sewell Pom surrendered three goals in the loss for the Chevron.

With the win, the Hopewell Hurricanes improve to 6-2-2-0 while the Chevron fall to 3-7-0-0.
