Calgary, AB – Doug Pickell* scored a hat-trick and added an assist to help bring the Hopewell Hurricanes to a 5-3 triumph over the Knights at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Completing the scoring for for the Hopewell Hurricanes was Brad Slomp* with two goals . John Doyle* added three assists. Goaltender Paul Simon* picked up the victory for the Hopewell Hurricanes giving up three goals.

Finding the back of the net for the Knights was Erryl Copeland*, Terry Barnhart* and Mike Cundall chipping in with a goal each. Dustin Borotsik added two assists. Goaltender Trevor Sedgwick* surrendered five goals in the loss for the Knights.

With the victory, the Hopewell Hurricanes improve to 5-2-2-0 while the Knights fall to 0-7-2-0.
