Calgary, AB – Brandon Long* scored a hat-trick and added four assists to lead the Sofa Kings to an 8-5 triumph over the Rustlers at Stew Hendry on Tuesday.

Completing the scoring for for the Sofa Kings was Gord Matheson * with two goals, Regan Yeager* and Tyler Trilsbeck* and Richard Smythe* chipping in with singles. Long* added four assists, Yeager* and Lucas Long* each added three assists. Goaltender Nico Vandersalm * picked up the victory for the Sofa Kings giving up five goals.

Finding the twine for the Rustlers was Tyler Garrioch*, Ryan Wales*, Rob Rishaug*, RJ Zeniuk* and CJ Hilly* chipping in with a goal each. Wales* and Garrioch* each added two assists. Goaltender Cam Goldade* surrendered eight goals in the loss for the Rustlers.

With the victory, the Sofa Kings improve to 14-9-7-0 while the Rustlers fall to 17-11-2-0.
