Calgary, AB – Ray Drake* scored his fifth goal of the season with 2:43 remaining in the third period and Victor Bakala* scored a hat-trick to help bring the Buffaloes to a 5-4 triumph over the Sofa Kings at Stew Hendry on Sunday.

Completing the scoring for for the Buffaloes was Mike Rogne* with a single marker. Goaltender Jon Kalkman* picked up the victory for the Buffaloes giving up four goals.

Finding the back of the net for the Sofa Kings was Reto Stiz*, Ryan Armstrong, Trevor Burke * and Richard Smythe* chipping in with singles. Goaltender Nico Vandersalm * surrendered five goals in the loss for the Sofa Kings.

The Sofa Kings jumped out to a 3-0 lead when Stiz* scored his seventh of the season with 4:45 left in the first period but Bakala* responded for the Buffaloes with his eighth of the season to start the rally.

With the victory, the Buffaloes improve to 4-2-1-0 while the Sofa Kings fall to 3-4-0-0.
