Calgary, AB – Andy Keats* scored a goal and added an assist as the Hopewell Hurricanes extended its winning streak to three games with a 6-3 triumph over the IceCats at Ernie Starr on Wednesday.

Capping off the scoring for the Hopewell Hurricanes was Paul Taylor, Steve Nemeth, Mike L., Doug Pickell, Scott Bishop* each tallying single markers. James Mendori added two assists. Goaltender Jay Greening picked up the win for the Hopewell Hurricanes giving up three goals.

Sniping for the IceCats was Nik Cooper* with two goals and Reggie Lang* with a single marker. Goaltender Darryl Leray* surrendered six goals in the loss for the IceCats.

With the win, the Hopewell Hurricanes improve to 11-18-2-0 while the IceCats fall to 18-8-5-0.
