White* nets hat-trick, Schooners rally to outperform Chevron
Calgary, AB – Danny White* scored a hat-trick and added an assist to help secure the Schooners erased a three-goal deficit and a victory in an 8-5 victory over the Chevron at Norma Bush on Tuesday.
Adding markers for the Schooners was Jamie Prior* with two goals, Dennis Holder* and Bryon Campbell* and Reagan Tyson* each contributing with single markers. Prior* added four assists and Randy Mosher* added two assists. Goaltender Jimmy Farrell* picked up the victory for the Schooners giving up five goals.
Providing the offence for the Chevron was Mike Prins*, Ron Bellis*, Josh Collier*, Rick Cooke* and Kyle Myden* with a goal each. Goaltender Darrell Gall* surrendered eight goals in the loss for the Chevron.
The Chevron jumped out to a 4-1 lead when Collier* scored his fourth of the season with 10:24 left in the first period but Campbell* responded for the Schooners with his third of the season to start the rally.
With the victory, the Schooners improve to 12-6-2-0 while the Chevron fall to 6-13-1-0.
