Calgary, AB – Brad Slomp scored a hat-trick and added an assist to lift the Hopewell Hurricanes to a 7-3 clobbering over the Tailgaters at Norma Bush on Tuesday.

Capping off the scoring for the Hopewell Hurricanes was S. Durtnarc with two goals, Barry Tanguay* and Trevor Borysuk contributing with a goal each. Goaltender Jay Martins picked up the win for the Hopewell Hurricanes giving up three goals.

Sniping for the Tailgaters was Ryan Bennett, Shane Legrow* and Derek Sharp* each tallying single markers. Shawn Karaki* added two assists. Goaltender Todd Bettison* surrendered seven goals in the loss for the Tailgaters.

With the win, the Hopewell Hurricanes improve to 3-12-0-0 while the Tailgaters fall to 5-7-3-0.
