Calgary, AB – Alex Ponich scored two goals for the Icemen and Victor Bakala scored a goal and added an assist for the Mustangs as the teams battled to a 4-4 tie at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Adding markers for the Mustangs was Jim Pendergast*, Joel Merkosky and Rhett Pickering* each contributing with single markers. Darryl MacDonald* and Daniel Chrisholm each added two assists. Goaltender Duane Arsenault* surrendered four goals in the tie for the Mustangs.

Adding markers for the Icemen was Sean Jozsa and Travis Copp with a goal each. Chris Burchell added two assists. Goaltender Jean-Michelle Auger gave up four goals in the tie for the Icemen.

After the tie, the Icemen have a record of 5-7-3-0 while the Mustangs move to 6-5-4-0.
