Price* nets hat-trick, Wolf Pack rally to better Terra Raiders
Calgary, AB – Curtis Sim* scored his fourth goal of the season with 4:24 remaining in the third period and Matt Price* scored a hat-trick and added two assists to help lift the Wolf Pack erased a three-goal deficit and to a 7-6 victory over the Terra Raiders at George Blundun on Saturday.
Adding markers for the Wolf Pack was Mark Hashem* with a hat-trick . Mark Davy* added three assists, Price*, Hashem* and Josh Rikihana* each added two assists. Goaltender Mike O'Reagan* picked up the victory for the Wolf Pack giving up six goals.
Scoring for the Terra Raiders was Dave Brewin* with two goals and Marcus Hoover*, Brad Ginet*, Chris Ban* and Connor Coates* each with single strikes. Hoover*, Ginet* and Eric Monteith* each added two assists. Goaltender Jim Barath* surrendered seven goals in the loss for the Terra Raiders.
The Wolf Pack jumped out to a 7-5 lead when Sim* scored his fourth of the season with 4:24 left in the third period but Brewin* responded for the Terra Raiders with his seventh of the season to start the rally.
With the victory, the Wolf Pack improve to 3-6-3-0 while the Terra Raiders fall to 7-3-2-0.
