Calgary, AB – Brad Benedict* scored a goal and added four assists to help the Colts to a 9-5 spanking over the Buffaloes at George Blundun on Saturday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Colts was Kyle McIntyre* with two goals and Steve Plant*, Brian Coventry*, Bart Haahr*, Garvin Tarr*, Gregg Meheriuk*, Brendan Altwasser* each adding a goal. Plant* added three assists, Coventry* added two assists. Goaltender Denis Casey picked up the win for the Colts giving up 0 goals.

The win snapped the Colts' three-game losing skid.

Striking for the Buffaloes was Joel Hidalgo*, Justin Huseby*, Chris Dagg, Jas Dhami* and Jay Bran* with a goal each. Hidalgo* added two assists. Goaltender Rich Froese* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Buffaloes.

With the win, the Colts improve to 5-6-1-0 while the Buffaloes fall to 4-7-1-0.
