Jantzie strikes twice, Honey Badgers squeak past Buffaloes
Calgary, AB – Dave Jantzie scored two goals to guide the Honey Badgers to a 3-1 conquest over the Buffaloes at Optimist on Saturday.
Rounding out the scoring for the Honey Badgers was and Yvan Champagne with a single tally. Goaltender Matt Elder* picked up the win for the Honey Badgers holding the Buffaloes to a single goal.
Scoring the single strike for the Buffaloes was and Dillon Swords-Beales*, his first of the season. Goaltender Nathan Porco* surrendered three goals in the loss for the Buffaloes.
With the win, the Honey Badgers improve to 2-1-0-0 while the Buffaloes fall to 1-2-0-0.
