Calgary, AB – Craig Smith scored two goals to help bring the Colts to a 7-4 triumph over the Panthers at Southland on Friday.

Completing the scoring for for the Colts was Scott Meyerhoff* and Ryan Toole, Cameron Chapman*, DJ Wright and Chris Toews* chipping in with a goal each. Meyerhoff* added two assists. Goaltender Jason Crossland picked up the victory for the Colts giving up four goals.

Finding the back of the net for the Panthers was Mike Leslie*, Todd Kathol*, Mike Tucker* and Matt Bucholz* chipping in with singles. Goaltender Doug Lavers surrendered seven goals in the loss for the Panthers.

With the victory, the Colts improve to 1-1-0-0 while the Panthers fall to 0-2-0-0.
