Calgary, AB – Connor Coates* scored two goals and added an assist to help fuel the x - Terra Raiders to an 8-5 conquest over the Honey Badgers at Optimist on Saturday.

Rounding out the scoring for the x - Terra Raiders was Brad Ginet* with two goals and Thomas Syvret*, Chris Ban*, Marcus Hoover* and Ben Weber* each adding single tallies. Joel Manson* added two assists. Goaltender Jim Barath* picked up the win for the x - Terra Raiders giving up five goals.

Cashing in for the Honey Badgers was Scott McKenzie and Jeremy Gardiner with a pair of goals each and Rocky Robertson with a single marker. Ed Melville* added two assists. Goaltender Matt Elder* surrendered eight goals in the loss for the Honey Badgers.

With the win, the x - Terra Raiders improve to 12-8-3-0 while the Honey Badgers fall to 1-15-7-0.
