Calgary, AB – Steve Glowa* scored four goals and added an assist to help support the x - Flying Elbows in an 8-5 victory over the Schooners at Frank McCool on Friday.

Adding markers for the x - Flying Elbows was Nathan Woynarski* with two goals, Steve Tuckey* and Shaun Kos* each with single strikes. Michael St. Laurent* added four assists, Tuckey* added three assists and Mike Parker* added two assists. Goaltender Allan Manz* picked up the victory for the x - Flying Elbows giving up five goals.

Providing the offence for the Schooners was Reagan Tyson* with a hat-trick and Jamie Prior* with two goals . Jimmy Farrell* added three assists. Goaltender Jimmy Farrell* surrendered eight goals in the loss for the Schooners.

The setback halted the Schooners' three-game winning streak.

With the victory, the x - Flying Elbows improve to 7-4-0-0 while the Schooners fall to 4-7-0-0.
