Calgary, AB – D Shemeran scored a hat-trick and added an assist as the x - Flying Hellfish extended its winning streak to three games with a 10-5 thrashing over the Sofa Kings at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Capping off the scoring for the x - Flying Hellfish was Steve Kendrick* with a hat-trick, S Jakubec with two goals, Mel Linn* and Thomas Ferianke contributing with a goal each. Jakubec added three assists, Linn*, Grant McGowan* and C Butcher each added two assists. Goaltender Darryle Leray picked up the win for the x - Flying Hellfish giving up five goals.

Sniping for the Sofa Kings was Adam Gaunce, Kevin Sawyer *, Jesse Louden*, Adam MacLean and Gord Matheson * each tallying single markers. Gaunce added two assists. Goaltender Nico Vandersalm * surrendered 10 goals in the loss for the Sofa Kings.

With the win, the x - Flying Hellfish improve to 5-4-0-0 while the Sofa Kings fall to 1-9-0-0.
