Calgary, AB – Tyler Kushniruk* scored two goals and added an assist as the xy - Calgary Hogs extended its winning streak to seven games with a 8-3 whipping over the Sleeman Brewers at Norma Bush on Saturday.

Capping off the scoring for the xy - Calgary Hogs was Blaine Dobinson* and Chris Mills*, Dave Mills, Kent Kinaschuk, Tim Norick* and Kenton Haugrud each tallying single markers. Dobinson*, Ryan Grant*, Jody Pederson*, Greg Pejic and Kevin Free* each added two assists. Goaltender Wes Raabis picked up the victory for the xy - Calgary Hogs giving up three goals.

Finding the twine for the Sleeman Brewers was Brad Bennett with two goals and Peter Dmytruk* with a single marker. Goaltender Adam McBride surrendered eight goals in the loss for the Sleeman Brewers.

With the victory, the xy - Calgary Hogs improve to 7-0-1-0 while the Sleeman Brewers fall to 1-8-1-0.
