Calgary, AB – Gary Smyth* scored a goal and added three assists to guide the x - Pirates to a 7-4 conquest over the Rustlers at Optimist on Saturday.

Rounding out the scoring for the x - Pirates was Joe Curts* and Mark Harper* with a pair of goals each, Matthew Dyck, Lynden Dyck* each adding single tallies. Steve Atkinson* added five assists and Smyth* added three assists. Goaltender Rick Windl* picked up the win for the x - Pirates giving up four goals.

Cashing in for the Rustlers was Craig Black with two goals and Gregg Moore and Rob Rishaug contributing with a goal each. Goaltender Cam Goldade surrendered seven goals in the loss for the Rustlers.

With the win, the x - Pirates improve to 5-3-1-0 while the Rustlers fall to 2-6-2-0.
