Calgary, AB – Mike Belanger* scored a hat-trick and added three assists to help support the x - Slashers in an 8-5 victory over the x - Tailgaters at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Adding markers for the x - Slashers was Mike Ladobruk with a hat-trick, Chris Roa-Yaremkowycz* and Brad Kingsmith each contributing with single markers. Roa-Yaremkowycz* added two assists. Goaltender Codie Stevenson picked up the victory for the x - Slashers giving up five goals.

Providing the offence for the x - Tailgaters was Tristan Janusc* with a hat-trick and Derek Sharp* and Chris Legrow* with a goal each. Goaltender Todd Bettison* surrendered eight goals in the loss for the x - Tailgaters.

With the victory, the x - Slashers improve to 5-4-0-0 while the x - Tailgaters fall to 5-4-0-0.
