Calgary, AB – S Welsh scored two goals and added two assists to help fuel the IceCats to a 9-7 win over the x - Icemen at Village Square on Saturday.

Rounding out the scoring for the IceCats was Eric Charron* with two goals and Nik Cooper*, Jeff Bourassa, Rob Walker*, Mark Sproxton* and Mike McNaney* with a goal each. Cooper* added three assists, Welsh, Bourassa, Walker*, Vance Alexander* and Andre Landry* each added two assists. Goaltender Larry Guilloux* picked up the win for the IceCats giving up seven goals.

Striking for the x - Icemen was Corbin Coyes with a hat-trick and Gord MacLean, Darcy Frey, Trevor Ternes and Sean Jozsa chipping in with a goal each. MacLean, Frey, Scott MacLean and Chad Coyes each added two assists. Goaltender Jean-Michelle Auger surrendered nine goals in the loss for the x - Icemen.

With the win, the IceCats improve to 2-6-1-0 while the x - Icemen fall to 5-2-2-0.
