Calgary, AB – Kevin Murphy* scored his fifth goal of the season with 5:50 remaining in the third period and Gary Yamada* scored two goals as the Pirates extended their winning streak to three games with a 7-6 triumph over the Schooners at George Blundun on Saturday.

Capping off the scoring for the Pirates was Ken Muis*, Shane Steeves*, Mike Davis*, Roger Miller* contributing with a goal each. Steve Turvey* added two assists. Goaltender Rick Windl* picked up the win for the Pirates giving up six goals.

Finding the twine for the Schooners was Larry Andrea* with a hat-trick, Stephen Duncan* with two goals and Mathew Chisholm* with a single tally. Chris Urban* added four assists and Chisholm* added three assists. Goaltender Jimmy Farrell* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Schooners.

With the win, the Pirates improve to 3-6-0-0 while the Schooners fall to 6-2-1-0.
