Calgary, AB – Morgan Rudiger* scored a hat-trick and added an assist to help bring the x - Grasshoppers to a 9-4 route over the Sofa Kings at George Blundun on Saturday.

Completing the scoring for for the x - Grasshoppers was Lance Davidson* and Duane Smith*, Kirk Hildebrandt, Bobby Begin, Andy Walsh* and Kevin Lodberg* chipping in with singles. Andrew Hughes added three assists and Colin Baustad* added two assists. Goaltender Dan Oxton picked up the victory for the x - Grasshoppers giving up four goals.

Finding the back of the net for the Sofa Kings was Lyle Armitage * with two goals and Mike Terrell and Gord Matheson * chipping in with a goal each. Goaltender Nico Vandersalm * surrendered nine goals in the loss for the Sofa Kings.

With the victory, the x - Grasshoppers improve to 4-3-1-0 while the Sofa Kings fall to 1-7-0-0.
