Calgary, AB – Kevin Free* scored four goals and added an assist as the Icehogs extended its winning streak to three games with a 12-6 trouncing over the Rustlers at Village Square on Saturday.

Completing the scoring for for the Icehogs was Cam Mackee* and Mike Tanton* with a pair of goals each and Derrick Moore*, Blaine Dobinson*, Brad Watts* and Shawn Foster* each contributing with single markers. Moore* and Brent Gosselin* each added three assists, Dobinson*, Watts*, Aaron Potvin* and Dave White* each added two assists. Goaltender Jody Stevens* picked up the victory for the Icehogs giving up six goals.

Finding the back of the net for the Rustlers was Ian Stang* with a hat-trick and Lee Boutin*, Nick Darling* and Adam Peters* chipping in with singles. Kyle Smart* added three assists, Stang* and Neil Hawrlyik* each added two assists. Goaltender Paul Chatten* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Rustlers.

With the victory, the Icehogs improve to 8-2-0-0 while the Rustlers fall to 0-8-1-0.
