Calgary, AB – Devin Affonso scored a goal and added three assists to help fuel the xy - The Swarm to an 8-5 win over the x - Grasshoppers at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Rounding out the scoring for the xy - The Swarm was Mike Manuel* with two goals and Jamey Dels, Jason Zimmer*, Jim Vasilopoulos, Chris McFetridge, Chris Perkins chipping in with a goal each. Dels, Vasilopoulos and Zimmer* each added two assists. Goaltender Kelly Oberg picked up the win for the xy - The Swarm giving up five goals.

Striking for the x - Grasshoppers was Tom Gregory* with two goals and Duane Smith*, Jeff Metzger* and Andrew Hughes with a goal each. Smith* and Colin Hughes* each added two assists. Goaltender Lesley Reddon surrendered eight goals in the loss for the x - Grasshoppers.

With the win, the xy - The Swarm improve to 4-2-1-0 while the x - Grasshoppers fall to 3-3-1-0.
