Calgary, AB – Shane Legrow scored two goals and added two assists to help secure the x - Tailgaters a victory in a 7-3 trouncing over the xy - Hopewell Hurricanes at Norma Bush on Saturday.

Adding markers for the x - Tailgaters was Tracey Durand* with two goals and JD Goddard*, Will Hotomanie* and Derek Sharp* with a goal each. Matt Dawe added three assists, Legrow, Goddard* and Hotomanie* each added two assists. Goaltender Todd Bettison* picked up the victory for the x - Tailgaters giving up three goals.

The victory extinguished the x - Tailgaters' three-game losing streak.

Contributing the only goals for the xy - Hopewell Hurricanes was Steve Nemeth* with a hat-trick. Andy Keats* added three assists. Goaltender Dave Garcia* surrendered seven goals in the loss for the xy - Hopewell Hurricanes.

With the victory, the x - Tailgaters improve to 15-15-2-0 while the xy - Hopewell Hurricanes fall to 21-7-4-0.
