Calgary, AB – John Doyle* scored two goals as the xy - Hopewell Hurricanes extended their winning streak to three games with a 6-4 triumph over the x - Flying Elbows at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Capping off the scoring for the xy - Hopewell Hurricanes was Andy Keats* and Caleb Pierce with a pair of goals each. Steve Griffin* added four assists and Barry Tanguay* added three assists. Goaltender Dave Garcia* picked up the win for the xy - Hopewell Hurricanes giving up four goals.

Finding the twine for the x - Flying Elbows was Steve Nadeau*, Werner Gartner*, Mike Nestiuk and Joe McCormick* each tallying single markers. Nadeau* added two assists. Goaltender Allan Manz* surrendered six goals in the loss for the x - Flying Elbows.

With the win, the xy - Hopewell Hurricanes improve to 20-5-3-0 while the x - Flying Elbows fall to 16-12-0-0.
