Calgary, AB – Scott Cote* scored his 21th goal of the season with 12:22 remaining in the third period and Jason Lebbert* scored two goals and added two assists to lift the Honey Badgers to an 8-7 conquest over the x - Buffaloes at Village Square on Saturday.

Capping off the scoring for the Honey Badgers was Yvan Champagne with two goals, Ed Melville*, Peter Casey*, Clarke Turpin* each adding single tallies. Chris Daskas* added four assists, Lebbert*, Melville*, Casey* and Mike Mungiello each added two assists. Goaltender Matt Elder* picked up the win for the Honey Badgers giving up seven goals.

Sniping for the x - Buffaloes was Joel Goulet with a hat-trick, Dillon Swords-Beales* with two goals and Chris Gager* and Jordan Hiller* contributing with a goal each. John Page* added three assists, Gager* and Ray Drake* each added two assists. Goaltender Mark Hardy surrendered eight goals in the loss for the x - Buffaloes.

With the win, the Honey Badgers improve to 3-18-7-0 while the x - Buffaloes fall to 14-12-2-0.
