Calgary, AB – Tyler Yamashiro* scored a hat-trick and added three assists to guide the x - The Boundary Bears erased a three-goal deficit and to a 13-7 throttling over the x - Lions at Frank McCool on Friday.

Rounding out the scoring for the x - The Boundary Bears was Carl Knudsen with four strikes, Troy Miller* with two goals, Chris Watson and Kirk Sproule*, Jared Sproule* and Lane Wagner chipping in with a goal each. Watson added six assists, Miller*, Sproule*, Sproule*, Wagner and Kyle Morton* each added two assists. Goaltender Jason Crossland picked up the win for the x - The Boundary Bears giving up seven goals.

Cashing in for the x - Lions was Brenden Soley with two goals and Dan Franks, Tommy Hrazdira, Matty Margoreeth, Tyler Bober and Jason Moniz each adding single tallies. Franks, Hrazdira and Ryan Mawhinney each added two assists. Goaltender Clinton Mawhinney surrendered 13 goals in the loss for the x - Lions.

The x - Lions jumped out to a 3-0 lead when Bober scored his fifth of the season with 6:54 left in the first period but Knudsen responded for the x - The Boundary Bears with his 23rd of the season to start the rally.

With the win, the x - The Boundary Bears improve to 17-10-0-0 while the x - Lions fall to 7-17-3-0.
