Calgary, AB – Mike Davis* scored two goals and added an assist to spark the Pirates to a 5-1 pummeling over the Melrose Cafe at George Blundun on Saturday.

Also scoring for the Pirates was Kevin Murphy* with two goals and Steve Atkinson* with a single tally. Atkinson* added two assists. Goaltender Rick Windl* picked up the win for the Pirates holding the Melrose Cafe to a single goal.

Scoring the only marker for the Melrose Cafe was and Jim Gagnon*, his first of the season. Goaltender Quinn Morettin* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Melrose Cafe.

With the win, the Pirates improve to 2-6-0-0 while the Melrose Cafe fall to 4-2-2-0.
