Calgary, AB – Nico Vandersalm * pitched a shutout and Gord Matheson * scored a hat-trick to help support the Sofa Kings in a 4-0 spanking over the Panthers at George Blundun on Saturday.

Adding markers for the Sofa Kings was and Kevin Sawyer * with a single tally.

Goaltender Doug Lavers surrendered four goals in the loss for the Panthers.

With the victory, the Sofa Kings improve to 11-13-4-0 while the Panthers fall to 14-13-2-0.
