Calgary, AB – Gary Smyth* scored five goals and added three assists to help support the Pirates in an 11-5 spanking over the Rustlers at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Adding markers for the Pirates was Neil Cumming with five goals and Michael Clowes with a single tally. Tim Cross* added four assists, Smyth*, Cumming and Nate Roberts* each added three assists, Clowes and Rick Windl* each added two assists. Goaltender Rick Windl* picked up the victory for the Pirates giving up five goals.

Providing the offence for the Rustlers was Matt Vanderberg with four strikes and Fraser Grant with a single marker. Grant and Ian Huston each added two assists. Goaltender Cam Goldade surrendered 11 goals in the loss for the Rustlers.

With the victory, the Pirates improve to 14-4-2-0 while the Rustlers fall to 9-8-3-0.
