Calgary, AB – Tyler Jackson* scored two goals and added two assists as the Hopewell Hurricanes extended its winning streak to five games with a 10-5 spanking over the Knights at Optimist on Saturday.

Also scoring for the Hopewell Hurricanes was Andy Keats* with a hat-trick, Steve Nemeth* and R Nagata with a pair of goals each and Barry Tanguay* with a single marker. Scott Bishop* added six assists, John Doyle*. Goaltender Dave Garcia* picked up the win for the Hopewell Hurricanes giving up five goals.

Lighting the lamp for the Knights was Tyler Reid* with two goals and Adam Sly*, Will Clark* and Bryce Davis* with a goal each. Goaltender Adam Westlake surrendered 10 goals in the loss for the Knights.

The setback halted the Knights' three-game winning streak.

With the win, the Hopewell Hurricanes improve to 14-12-2-0 while the Knights fall to 18-10-1-0.
