Calgary, AB – Chad Frizzle* scored two goals and added an assist to help secure the Mustangs a victory in an 8-6 victory over the Icemen at Frank McCool on Friday.

Adding markers for the Mustangs was Bryan Lukeman* with two goals and Chris Mele, Donnie Grant, Mike Lamborn and Aaaron Merkasky with a goal each. Mele, Grant and Matt Cook* each added two assists. Goaltender Duane Arsenault* picked up the victory for the Mustangs giving up six goals.

Providing the offence for the Icemen was Chris Burchell with two goals and Brad Baldwin, Corbin Coyes, Brian Patterson and Grant Chomiak each contributing with single markers. Coyes, Baldwin and Greg Coonfer each added two assists. Goaltender Jean-Michelle Auger surrendered eight goals in the loss for the Icemen.

With the victory, the Mustangs improve to 10-12-7-0 while the Icemen fall to 12-14-3-0.
