Calgary, AB – Steve Nemeth* scored a goal and added three assists as the Hopewell Hurricanes extended its winning streak to four games with a 9-4 route over the Flying Elbows at Stew Hendry on Sunday.

Completing the scoring for for the Hopewell Hurricanes was Aaron Cowley* with a hat-trickBrad Slomp with a hat-trick, Barry Tanguay* with two goals . Andy Keats* added five assists, Nemeth* added three assists and John Doyle* added two assists. Goaltender Dave Garcia* picked up the victory for the Hopewell Hurricanes giving up four goals.

Finding the back of the net for the Flying Elbows was Steve Tuckey* with two goals and Joe McCormick* and Darren Feist* each contributing with single markers. Goaltender Allan Manz* surrendered nine goals in the loss for the Flying Elbows.

With the victory, the Hopewell Hurricanes improve to 13-12-2-0 while the Flying Elbows fall to 11-10-6-0.
