Calgary, AB – Jason McDonald* scored a hat-trick and added three assists to help fuel the BDR Angers to an 8-5 win over the Icemen at Stew Hendry on Sunday.

Rounding out the scoring for the BDR Angers was Jon Steranko* with a hat-trick, Marty Holzinger* and Wally Fizer* chipping in with a goal each. Goaltender Mike Hanson picked up the win for the BDR Angers giving up 0 goals.

Striking for the Icemen was Darcy Hrycauk, Gord MacLean, Darcy Frey, Kevin Patterson and Greg Coonfer with a goal each. Hrycauk and MacLean each added two assists. Goaltender Travis Copp surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Icemen.

With the win, the BDR Angers improve to 5-1-0-0 while the Icemen fall to 0-6-0-0.
