Calgary, AB – Darren Feist* scored five goals and added an assist as the Flying Elbows extended its winning streak to four games with a 13-1 trouncing over the Slashers at Stew Hendry on Sunday.

Adding markers for the Flying Elbows was Shane Mark* and Nathan Woynarski* with a pair of goals each and Joe McCormick*, Werner Gartner*, Chris Leinweber and Tim Fournier with a goal each. McCormick* added four assists, Mark*, Steve Glowa and Steve Tuckey* each added three assists and Gartner* added two assists. Goaltender Clint Manhinney picked up the victory for the Flying Elbows holding the Slashers to a single goal.

Tallying the only goal for the Slashers was and Steve Fodchuk*, his first of the season. Goaltender John Kilbride surrendered 13 goals in the loss for the Slashers.

With the victory, the Flying Elbows improve to 5-1-0-0 while the Slashers fall to 1-5-0-0.
