Calgary, AB – Dave Chubb scored two goals and added two assists to guide the Sleeman Brewers to a 7-5 conquest over the Grasshoppers at George Blundun on Saturday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Sleeman Brewers was Erich Binner and Paul Bradley, Trevor Tracey, Justin Wetsch* and Dan Tall* each adding single tallies. Chubb and Gilles Hickey each added two assists. Goaltender Jon MacMillan picked up the win for the Sleeman Brewers giving up five goals.

The victory extinguished the Sleeman Brewers' three-game losing streak.

Cashing in for the Grasshoppers was Morgan Rudiger* and Tommy Zizian with a pair of goals each and Lance Davidson* with a single marker. Rudiger* added three assists and Bob Storrs* added two assists. Goaltender Trevor Devenich* surrendered seven goals in the loss for the Grasshoppers.

With the win, the Sleeman Brewers improve to 1-3-0-0 while the Grasshoppers fall to 1-3-0-0.
